50-year company anniversary
With an enormous crowd of visitors, we were able to celebrate our 50th company anniversary on 1.10.2011.

Expansion of company premises in Bludesch/Gais
The farm area was increased from 3.4 ha to 5.4 ha.
Takeover of the company August Melk, International Transports.
In 2009, 9 trucks were taken over from August Melk in Frastanz.

Takeover Reiner Transporte GmbH
As of 1.3.2008 the merger with Reiner Transporte GmbH in Dornbirn was carried out. Through this merger, the fleet was increased by 27 vehicles to 253 vehicles.
On the company premises directly on the freeway, we have a spacious storage area, a workshop and an ultra-modern tank facility at our disposal in Dornbirn.

Foundation Vögel Naturno
On 13.1.2006 Vögel Trans S.R.L. was founded in 39025 Naturno, Peter Mitterhoferstr. 13 in Italy. The company acts independently with 5 units.

. Takeover of Windisch
Through the takeover of Windisch Transporte GesmbH & CoKG in Rankweil, the vehicle fleet could be further expanded.

Expansion of farm area in Bludesch/Gais
The farm area was enlarged from 1.5 ha to 3.4 ha.

The branch Seger Transport AG in Liechtenstein was renamed Vögel Transport AG.
Takeover of Seger Transport
Through the takeover of the company Seger Transporte AG in Liechtenstein, the fleet grew by 14 additional vehicles.
Takeover of the company Götze Lauterach
In 2001, 5 trucks were taken over from the company Götze in Lauterach.

Construction of the first warehouse In 1998, the company's premises were extended by a further 8,407 m². A warehouse with a large flying roof was built on this additional area. Now it was also possible to store goods temporarily.

After a one-year construction phase, the company moved to its current location in Bludesch-Gais in 1994. In the newly built building, an own workshop and a service station were established, more than 11,000 m² were now available to the company VÖGEL.
Takeover of the Grass Company
With the takeover of the company Grass in Bludenz, the fleet increased to a total of 50 trucks.

1983 saw the start of long-distance freight transport.
In the next few years, the fleet was constantly expanded.
In 1989 already 17 vehicles belonged to the bird fleet.

Acquisition of 2 Fiat Austria trucks for the transport of sawn timber to Switzerland.

Purchase of a MAN tanker for the transport of fuel oil and bitumen for road construction.

Purchase of another truck for log transport with a Hiab crane.

Mr. August Vögel founded the company August VÖGEL Transporte. In the first years of operation, he drove his first truck (Saurer brand) to construction sites.
